Abstract Animals Using Procreate

In this class students will take their favorite animals and redraw it using only shapes, colors and designs using Procreate for iPad. We will start by drawing the large shapes that make up the animal. Next, we will fill in the spaces with smaller shapes and designs. As we go we will be using different shades of a color and similar colors to color the design in. The final step will be to add a drop shadow to the edges to really make the image pop.

Procreate skills covered will include layers, layer opacity, and how to make a simple drop shadow using layers. 

Students will need a photo of an animal preload into their iPad for use in the class.
