Class Experience

In both lessons we will spend some of the time viewing a PowerPoint slideshow about Vincent Van Gogh. We will discuss how Van Gogh showed texture in his paintings which gave the illusion of movement. We will look at how he applied thick paint and moved quickly to mix colors directly on the canvas. Students will view many of Van Gogh's painting and we will spend time looking at The Starry Night as well as many of his Sunflower paintings. Lesson 1, the students will be directed in a still life drawing of a vase of flowers. Lesson 2, the students in making the background similar to the sky in Starry Night.

I AM CURRENTLY TAKING A BREAK FROM OUTSCHOOL TO GO BACK INTO THE CLASSROOM. I WILL BE BACK!!!!!! PLEASE MESSAGE ME IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR CLASSES AND I WILL LET YOU KNOW WHEN I RETURN
Hello. I have been an art teach for 7 years as an employee of Art Masters Legacy. I teach a one hour lesson in the classroom to students in TK - 6th grade and special needs students. I attended college to become a teacher. I did not become a teacher right after college. I worked as an event planner and began teaching when my children were in elementary school. I absolutely love what I do. I call it my jobby. Art is my hobby and teaching it to students is my job. I draw like a child. I think it inspires the students and makes it obtainable for them! I am relateable. I make the lesson fun while breaking it down into very simple steps. I have been told by many teachers that I a have amazing classroom control.
