In this 4 week course, students will learn about the woodland habitat and some of the animals that life there. They will learn about the characteristics of the habitat and why certain animals chose to make it home. Students will engage in an interactive google slides and Nearpod presentation to explore the habitat. They will also explore a virtual field of the safari habitat. We will engage in a habitat puzzle, animal sort, and "move like the animals" in that habitat activity. Week #1:...

Students will be asked to follow links to watch YouTube videos. They may need an adult account to watch videos that may be blocked under the child accounts. Students may follow links to watch presentations on Canva, this will not require a login. Students will need to create a guest account and nickname for Kahoot! and Nearpod. They will also need a class code. Students will follow a shared link to a google slides presentation. No login is required.
