It's all about letter A! Your child will have fun as he/she listens to a cute story, "Alexander Anteater's Amazing Act." Alexander and his friends Anna and Albert work together to help Alexander create an amazing act for the school talent show. They learn that team work and using your imagination can have awesome results. After reading the story we will look at initial a words (pictures) and discriminate between initial a words and other words. We will write letter a and make letter a out of play dough.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi, I am Laurie and I love teaching Pre K, kindergarten and first grade. In fact I enjoy it so much that I have done it for over 15 years! This age group makes teaching fun because they are so fascinated about the world around them. I especially enjoy teaching young learners to read and believe that every child can and will read and with the support of their teachers and parents they will become life long learners.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and Master of Education with a concentration in Early Childhood Education.
When I am not teaching I am in the garden or in the great outdoors.
