In this class, students will learn to use the ASL alphabet to sign (Fingerspell) their ABCs.
Class experience
Learning how to sign the English alphabet in ASL has many benefits. For young students, it helps cement these new letter formations in a 3-dimensional, tactile mode, begin to open pathways for future secondary language acquisition and if course, help facilitate communication with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community.
