In this ongoing class, we will learn poses that begin with the letter of the alphabet for the week
Class experience
Come and join us for this fun and interactive yoga class with different letters of the alphabet each week! Yoga poses will be taught in a simple manner with easy terms for children to understand. As the yoga practice ends there will be time for guided relaxation. I will teach by showing an example of the pose, and then watching and assessing the children's poses. I have am certified to teach children's yoga from Cosmic kids yoga and sometimes follow the story telling method of teaching. ...
Children will learn one pose per letter of the alphabet so that they can begin or continue their yoga journey. Learners will also learn poses for flexibility, strength, and relaxation.
I have my certification to teach children's yoga from Cosmic Kids Yoga. I also have two years experience teaching children's yoga in the studio.
Optional equipment: Yoga mat Water Hair tie
I have been trained in children's yoga in a way that helps to prevent injury prevention, however, even when young children are properly supervised during exercise, there is a chance of potential injury. Please be advised of such potential harm, and always ask a doctor if you are not sure if a particular exercise or program is appropriate for your child. Do not allow your child to do any exercise that puts weight on their head or neck, and make sure that they have the proper space to move around. If it the parent's responsibility to provide the proper in person supervision that young children need.
