Come and join us for this fun and interactive yoga class with different letters of the alphabet each week! Yoga poses will be taught in a simple manner with easy terms for children to understand. As the yoga practice ends there will be time for guided relaxation. I will teach by showing an example of the pose, and then watching and assessing the children's poses. I have am certified to teach children's yoga from Cosmic kids yoga and sometimes follow the story telling method of teaching. Children do not need a mat to do yoga, but is helpful. They should wear comfortable clothing to class. Please try and find a place where your child will have space to move as well as see the screen from class. As with any exercise program, yoga could present some risks. Please know your child's physical limitations, and check with a doctor if you are concerned about them starting a new movement routine. Whenever possible, I recommend doing the poses along side your child or nearby. Parental Guidance
I have been trained in children's yoga in a way that helps to prevent injury prevention, however, even when young children are properly supervised during exercise, there is a chance of potential injury. Please be advised of such potential harm, and always ask a doctor if you are not sure if a particular exercise or program is appropriate for your child. Do not allow your child to do any exercise that puts weight on their head or neck, and make sure that they have the proper space to move around. If it the parent's responsibility to provide the proper in person supervision that young children need.
