📚We will start each class with our letter introductions. We will use a PowerPoint letter search game as we learn about our letter of the week. We will learn to recognize our capital and lowercase letters and the phonetic sound that our letter makes. After searching for our letters & the sound it makes, we will practice writing our letters (with our fingers in the air.) There are many benefits to letter games & learning through play such as helping children develop their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. These activities are important to healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them. Students will learn to recognize the alphabet and the phonetic sounds by doing various fun activities. Some of the many benefits of allowing your child to prepare food items include the following: Increases Language Development, Enhances Fine Motor Skills, Increases Math Ability, Improves Reading Skills and Letter Recognition, Introduces Kids to Scientific Concepts, Teaches Life Skills, & Encourages Family Bonding

Weekly supplies are needed. 25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Some younger students may need help opening containers or spreading ingredients. We will be using pre-made ingredients. No baking will be necessary. Children will not need to use the oven. Please check ingredients for possible allergens such as nuts, wheat, dairy, eggs, or soy.
