Class Experience

This class uses three methods of learning which can be integrated into any language of instruction.
Using visual (illustrations/pages from books), audio (phonetic pronunciation), and kinesthetic (tactile forming), we will practice the 26 letters. Playdoh manipulaiton is great way for children to incorporate their sensory input and fine motor skills. Through kneading, rolling, punching, smoothing, flattening, and other ways, your child will strengthen the arches of their hands and precision of their grasp.

Each class will begin with singing the French alphabet. * A video copy is available in the classroom tab to practice with.
Students will go over the sound each letter makes by incorporating phonics. They will learn some examples of words that start with those letters. Near the end of class, we will form the letters of that day using play doh and have some sculpting fun before ending with a short revision.

Students are welcomed to join this ongoing class at ANY point. The 9 week curriculum is a continuous cycle so they will eventually go back to the letters missed.
No prior knowledge of French is needed. Suitable for beginners and to those with little to no exposure of the language.
