ABC Phonics: Learning the Alphabet Through Alphatales! (3x/Week)
In this ongoing class, students will have a blast learning each letter of the alphabet and its letter sound! We will read, chant, and find objects that begin with our letter of the week!

Each week students will receive a copy of an Alphatale book that they may use to practice the letter / letter sound learned that week. They will also receive a coloring / printing sheet. The sheet will not be completed in class but can be completed outside of class time to reinforce understanding!Class Experience
US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
JOIN ANY WEEK! In this ongoing class, students will have a blast learning their letters and letter sounds! Students will meet three times a week for 25 minutes each time. Schedule will be similar to the following: --Greeting/How are you? Students will have a moment to say hello to their friends and teacher! Students will all have a chance to answer the question of the day. --Students will listen to a story from the AlphaTales collection. --Students will identify several items that start with the letter we are working on (and may even bring an item to share with the class that starts with the specific letter). --Students will listen to the letter cheer and practice saying it together / with the teacher. -- Goodbye! See you next time :) *Each week, students will be given mini versions of the AlphaTales books that they can reread with a parent after class to reinforce the letter and letter sound. I will also send coloring / printing sheets that can be completed outside of class time. I am a fully certified teacher with my Masters of Early Childhood Education, Bachelors of Elementary Education, and my Special Education Certification. I have over ten years of teaching experience and spent several years working as an early elementary educator at a private school that focuses on numeracy and literacy before moving to Outschool full time.
Teacher Angela
I have worked with children and youth for over 37 years and have a varied and vast amount of experience. For the last 25 years I have worked as an Educational Assistant in a Specialized Classroom in a Rehabilitation Hospital. Before working for the schoolboard I was a day home owner and operator.
Teacher Colleen
I am a fully certified teacher with my Bachelor of Secondary Education with a major in physical education and a minor in math. I have over five years of teaching experience and am currently working at a private school that focuses on numeracy and literacy.Reviews
