Class Experience

US Grade Kindergarten - 2
JOIN ANY WEEK!
Please note that this is level 2 of my ABC PHONICS course that focuses on digraphs (letter blends such as fl, cl, sl, etc) and letter rules (long e, long u, oo, etc). If your little learner needs to review their letters and letter sounds, I encourage you to enroll them in level 1. If they are ready to start putting those letters together and learn about different rules in English, this course is for them!

Schedule will be similar to the following:

--Greeting/How are you? Students will have a moment to say hello to their friends and teacher! Students will all have a chance to answer the question of the day.
--Students will listen to a story from the PhonicsTales collection.
--Students will identify several items that focus on the digraph/rule by answering riddles and looking at different pictures.
--Students will participate in show and share (please have your little one bring an item that starts with the blend / includes the rule we are focusing on).
--Students will listen to the letter cheer and practice saying it together / with the teacher.
-- Goodbye! See you next time :)

*Each week, students will be given a mini version of an AlphaTales book that they can reread with a parent after class to reinforce the letter and letter sound. I will also send a coloring / printing sheet that can be completed outside of class time.
*Please note the class may run a few minutes over or a few minutes under depending on sharing/the amount of students enrolled (class will run with two students but will be closer to 20 minutes in length).
