Does your learner love to play hide and seek, escape room or search and find games? This is the class for them! In this one-time class, students will work together to find the missing upper and lower case letters while practicing letter recognition and letter sounds. Letters are hidden in scenes made of common interests of young learners such as, animals, princesses, superheros, colors, toys, sea creatures, and more! Students will work together as a group (when multiple learners) which supports social skills and practice with group problem solving. This class is great for shy learners, new Outschool learners, ESL language learners or alphabet professionals! Alphabet printable coloring page provided for reference throughout class. Page will not be colored during class, but can be colored in before or after class for ongoing learning! Let's find those sneaky letters, come play hide and seek! *For the safety and privacy of learners, video recordings of classes with more than 1 student will not be shared with learners or parents.*
Learning Goals
Students will improve their skills of letter recognition and practice letter sounds, while supporting social skills and group problem solving.
Other Details
Parental Guidance
This class is meant to have open conversation throughout the class. It can be tricky for young ones to understand muting/unmuting their microphones, so I welcome them to just leave them on (unmute) so that they can speak freely! It's a small group which means everyone will have time to speak. If background noise is an issue, I will manually mute your child and prompt them to unmute when they wish to speak.
Supply List
An optional handout is provided for reference only.
1 file available upon enrollment
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
