Class Experience
In this 7-week course students will be introduced to beginning sounds, vowel sounds, and capitol vs. lower case letters using a unique system that has the most success at comprehension. Here is a brief overview of the course: Week #1: capitol- vs. lower-case letters & introducing the ABCs - (Book "The Monster Alphabet"). Week #2: letters P, D, F, T - (Book "Alphabet Rescue). Week #3: vowels - (Book "I am an Apple). Week #4: letters M, S, R, G, L - (Book "Elemenopee"). Week #5: letters...
Students will learn about the letters of alphabet.

1 file available upon enrollmentEach week I will post the requested materials for each lesson, including worksheets and supplies for fun crafts/activities! I attached coloring pages that you can print out for your students to use during class. These will be used as letter mats to fill in with different materials such as play-doh, slime, putty, or small objects. Students can also color these mats and keep them to review later. Binder to store all the collected materials in.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:

45 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be asked to access Nearpod, Kahoot!, and YouTube in order to fully experience this course. They may require assistance in accessing these sources for the first time. An account may be required. A codes will be needed for both Nearpod and Kahoot, along with the creation of a "nickname". Nothing will be require to access videos on Canva. Most YouTube videos will be under the "kids" section of YouTube however some are not and will require an adult account to avoid the videos being blocked. Youtube and Canva videos, and Nearpod will be used via screen share. The google slides presentation will be a simple link to follow and download.
