Class Experience

US Grade Preschool - Pre-Kindergarten
Is your little learner ready to explore the alphabet? Do they love learning through songs, learning, and coloring? Would they love to have their own little booklet for each letter of the alphabet? Would you like to do the lessons at your own pace each week? Then I think you found the right class!

In this student-paced course, we'll learn a new letter of the alphabet each lesson, growing in knowledge and confidence as we go!

In class, we'll:

 - Focus in on our special letter of the class on screen, complete with objects and words that start with that letter in a video lesson from Mrs. Zerr
 - Fold our letter booklet with step-by-step instructions as I fold it on camera in a video (some younger students may require help with this)
 - Listen to and sing the Learning Dynamics letter song of the lesson as we color our letter booklets
- Circle the letter of the lesson in the booklet
- Listen as Mrs. Zerr reads the letter booklet aloud

>>>ABOUT BECKY ZERR<<<

Teaching--especially in English, writing, and language arts--is a true passion of mine. I graduated Cum Laude from Kansas State University in 2010 with a Secondary Education degree in English and Journalism, and then went on to teach in the public schools before setting off on my own as an online teacher and tutor.

My philosophy of education is to make it as fun, personalized, and as interactive as possible for the kids. I always try to even out my direct instruction/lecture time with plenty of opportunities for students to practice these new skills, take polls, play review games, and collaborate with peers.

I am happily married to my husband Brad, and we have two beautiful daughters, Sophia and Elise. We currently reside in Kansas in a small town, and we love the small town life.

Oh, and Zerr is pronounced "Zarr," so it rhymes with "car."
