In this fun, ongoing, 25-minute class we will learn the alphabet one letter at a time, practice our numbers, read a letter story, sing songs, participate in activities that will strengthen prereading skills and finish with an art activity.

Description
Class Experience
Students will learn letters, letter sounds, prereading skills, numbers, and counting, as well as enhance fine motor skills and demonstrate their creativity.
There will be extra activity and/or coloring sheets sent out for reinforcement of skills covered in class. These are optional.
Students will need to print materials provided by the teacher for the activities prior to class. Students will also need paper, scissors, glue stick, markers/crayons, and a pencil.
There is no formal assessment for this class.
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Students will be using scissors and glue during the art activity. Please monitor your child's safety during this part of the class.
