This is the 5th session of a Flexible Scheduled Project Based Ancient History course. We will discover Ancient Rome and The Early Byzantine Empire through visual lectures, and project based learning.

Description
Class Experience
Students will gain an understanding of the history of Ancient Rome.
Homework will include: Viewing of recorded lessons The weekly project The weekly Nearpod lesson Viewing of possible videos The required involvement in the classroom (questions, comments, and responses) Possible other homework assignment
Dough Map: Printed map, dough in blue, yellow, green, orange, toothpicks, glue stick, scissors, paper Aqueduct Model: Clay, Cardboard paper towel tube, bowl, cup, tray Colosseum Model: Materials of choice: Legos, cardboard, or other possible small blocks Hagia Sophia Model- materials of choice (blocks, cardboard, Minecraft, clay)
Learners will be assessed through their completed work and through participation in posted forum discussion.
No live meetings, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
The week on The Birth of Christianity will be covered from an entirely historical and secular lens. No personal views of Christianity with be covered or discussed. Discussions and lectured will cover and refer only to historical facts.
