Class Experience

In this onetime class, students will explore in-depth all about bats from the largest to the smallest. Are vampire bats real? Are bats dangerous to humans? Did you know they are the second largest order of mammals in the entire world? The class will explore these questions and many more, as students discover if bats are as terrifying as they appear.

Students will learn fun facts about bats.

40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

We will be talking about animals in this class. We will cover topics like what they eat, how they hunt and kill. This could include images or short clips of animals attacking other animals to kill. While I will not display any gruesome images, the content could possibly be scary to some children.
