Class Experience
Vocabulary building is an essential part of reading comprehension. If students are unfamiliar with the words they come across in books, they will have a difficult time understanding what they are reading. This ongoing corse is designed to help students gain confidence with using new words as they expand their vocabulary. Every week, students will be given a list of ten vocabulary words. The lists will focus on words that appear frequently in grade-level texts and that students should know...
Students will expand their vocabulary and increase their reading comprehension.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
45 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
