In this one time class we'll learn all about the amazing Octopus! We'll answer 8 big questions about these fascinating sea creatures, and travel around the oceans to visit these their most interesting habitats. The 8 big questions we will answer are: 1. Students will learn fun facts about octopus, and get an understanding of thier biology. Students will learn about the family of animals that octopus belong to, Cephalopoda explore what makes octopus a unique part of marine biology.
I have a Bachelors in Environmental Science & Policy from Florida State University, where I studied marine wildlife and biology extensively. I'll be using this background to help students understand the octopus as a larger part of the oceans ecosystems.
Come with a pencil (or pen) and paper. You may want to draw or take notes during our class.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
40 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
