Class Experience
*This one-time class is part of my "A WACKY TALE WE CREATE" series.* In this class, we will be working on parts of speech through a Mad Lib tale with Minecraft flare. Mad Libs are such a fun activity, and I'm excited to see what we come up with during this class! *We will not be playing Minecraft in this class. Depending on the actual class, I will choose which of the 3 YouTube videos to show as a review for the parts of speech. Kids should have a pencil/pen and some paper available, if they choose to take notes during this part of class. For those kids that would like to review prepositions prior to class, they should look over the information on the Grammarly website included in the External Resources section. They can even go as far as to write some down, and bring them to class. I will be going over this list during the class, and will more than likely refer back to it often for those needing assistance in naming these specific words.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
