In this class we will improve our knowledge of animal collective nouns and try and memorise around 15 collective nouns through slides and interactive games like heads up. We will then use them to draw our own wildlife reserve annotated with descriptive sentences such as ‘a colony of bats hung from the rafters of the midnight black cave’. Learners can make the sentences as long and creative as they like or they can focus on their drawing with a simple sentence attached such as an ‘ambush of tigers stood silently in the forest’. Learners should feel comfortable with writing basic sentences and will be encouraged to keep their cameras and microphones on.
