You have all the necessary ingredients to create scientific magic in your very own kitchen! You can make shooting geysers, bouncy bubbles, sticky goos and yummy concoctions right at home! In this class, students will learn how to create quick science experiments in their kitchen. This is a lighter version of Kitchen Science For Kids and the experiments are able to be completed in 45 minutes or less. This is a live class and students will watch the demonstration for the first 5 minutes of the class and then participate in making their own experiments during the latter 30-40 minutes. Students will learn through class discussions, audio/video materials and hands on experiences. Each lesson will also include a literary, science, math or technology connection to real life applications. This is an introductory class and there are no prerequisites required. Learner progress is evaluated through class discussion and completion of the assignments.
