This is the perfect course for your rising Algebra I student! In "A Taste of Algebra I" Students will explore the foundations of Algebra I preparing them for their fall Algebra class.
Class experience
In this five day Algebra prep course students will learn the foundations of Algebra I providing them a toolbox for success in the Fall. This class will cover the basics of order of operations, simplifying expressions, solving one, two, and multistep equations, as well as linear equations. Each class will include a high energy mini lesson providing direct instruction in the topic of the day then break into practice with immediate feedback for each learner. By the end of the week students will be exposed to the basics of Algebra I. Students will be able to complete a quiz covering the basics of simplifying expressions, solving equations, and linear equations with at least a 75% accuracy.
