This semester-long course will require students to read, to analyze and to discuss one of the greatest novels of the latter part of the 20th century, Toni Morrison's "Beloved". Classroom discussions will utilize the 'round table' method of academic discussion. This method will ensure that each student has the opportunity to offer an opinion in a welcoming environment.
