A Spooktacular Animal Crossing Fashion Show
In this one time course, students will have the opportunity to expresses their fashion creativity by showing off their favorite spooky outfits and walk the runway in an Animal Crossing Fashion Show for Halloween.

*Students will need to have access to Nintendo online and a stable internet connection to participate. Get your spooky outfits ready to show them off in this Halloween themed fashion show! -Outfits should be prepared BEFORE the start of class (4-6 outfits) In this class student will -Meet other students that love to create and make outfits -Get inspiration for other fashion Ideas -Be given a dodo code to visit my island and shop the Able Sisters store for more in game clothing -Get access to free outfits on my island to help create additional outfits for the Fashion Show -Learn how to be a kind audience member -Learn how to walk the fashion show runway -Take part in the fashion show where students will have the chance to show off Spooky/Halloween Themed outfits (can be custom or in game) -If time permits students will get to explore the shops on my Island and ask me or their peers any Animal Crossing advice. Class will begin with an introduction of all students and enforce the idea that this class is a safe space for all students to feel safe and to share thoughts and ideas with fellow classmates. This is important for the functionality of this class because we are striving for making connections with others. Following introductions, a short review of classroom rules will be presented. Next, students will be reminded of the objective as well as the above topics that will be covered. The next part of class will consist of me providing the students with the information necessary for us to have a successful and enjoyable fashion show using google slides, images, and video of me modeling skills. Students will also be given opportunities to ask questions as well as share their own useful tips regarding Animal Crossing. The last part of class will take place on my island. All students will be invited to my island via Nintendo Online. All students need permission to visit other islands to participate in this class.

My name is Sarah De Los Santos and I am a third year kindergarten teacher. I am so grateful that I have finally achieved my goal in becoming an educator, and I am especially grateful that I get to teach kindergarten. I have a passion for teaching social-skills, communication, and problem-solving, and this is so essential in Kindergarten. I have also been teaching on Outschool for over 2 years. Outschool allowed me to teach social-skills, communication, and problem-solving in a time was impossible for people to come together in person. I was able to create fun and enjoyable classes that incorporated play and gaming to ease students into a social environment to help them learn or build on their social-skills, communication, and problem-solving skills.
As an educator my ultimate goal is to provide students with necessary skills to succeed in life, and while subjects like math are important, I strive to teach students skills like problem-solving and communication because these are the skills that are needed to live productive lives while in turn help with the core subjects. Therefore in my classes you will find that my focus is on character development that focus on improving life skills such as, problem solving, goal setting, communication, and positive mental attitude through more creative outlets such as bullet journaling, video games and other types of creative outlets.
