Tom has been studying the life and leadership skills of his hero, Ernest Shackleton, for over two decades & desires to enrich your history & leadership skills curriculum with his extensive knowledge of this amazing expedition. Tom has also completed in depth studies on the adventures and perils of several Antarctic expeditions. He has also lived & camped in cold climates, and has built & slept in snow caves. Teacher Tom was featured as a top educator on Outschool's EPIC Spotlight for being a Passion-Driven Educator in 2021! He teaches about Analog Astronauts and Missions, Testing and training in extreme earth environments as well as a multitude of Space, Science, and STEM classes.
