In the first half of this class, we will review some of the events of the past year using a teacher create PDF. We will write and/or draw what some of our favorites were from this past year such as our favorite color, favorite food, favorite places, and favorite activities. We will also recall friends, family, and special events that happened.

In the second half of the class, we will shift and begin talking about the upcoming year. We will discuss what goals or resolutions are as well as brainstorm some ideas for what our own resolution can be. We will write and/or draw our ideas.

By the end of this class, students will have a completed time capsule to look back on for years to come as well as a resolution to focus on for the upcoming year! This class is geared towards students who celebrate New Year's Eve.

Hello to Everyone! My name is Miss Meghan and I can’t wait to meet your child. I enjoy teaching a variety of classes for preschool and early elementary ages.

I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Special Education. At the beginning of my career, I worked extensively with children with autism in home settings designing programs to help students access the world around them in an empowering way. After my oldest daughter was born, I became a licensed childcare provider creating a home away from home for many children to grow and learn. When my youngest daughter was born, I decided it was time to explore other options and that is how I landed at Outschool. I am so grateful for this opportunity and love meeting new learners from all over the world.

I have a passion for instilling a love of learning in young children through exposure, messy play, and fun! I strongly believe that letting children delve into learning at their own level and allowing for different types of learning styles sets children up for a life long learning journey.

In addition to teaching on Outschool, I also homeschool my two daughters who are my pride and joy. I feel so grateful to have a career that I love that also affords me the opportunity to spend time with my own children as well. In my free time, I enjoy art, brainstorming new lesson ideas, cross stitch, and reading!

I offer science, art, language arts, social studies, math, and social classes for preschool and kindergarten age groups, as well as social groups for neurodivergent! Please feel free to message me with any questions!
