That's how we learn about our feelings and other's feelings. - We will explore the importance of compassion when dealing with others. - Early readers are introduced to a foundation of daily mindfulness practices. - Use illustrations to recognize the emotions of others -Vocabulary introduced: compassion, concern, content, focus, meditate, mindful, and yoga -Students will be invited to make their own goals for compassion -If there is time, students will participate in an elementary-aged yoga exercise

Parental Guidance
Appropriate for All: The seated yoga at the end of class will require an open space where students can move back from the desk/table. A warm-up will be given in the class. If there are any injuries or issues with any part of the body please inform me ahead of time so I can provide modifications.
