A Mermaid's World of Learning and Fun Camp
In this 2 week camp, students will explore the things that mermaids love most, friends, the coral reef, the mysteries of the deep, and underwater caves and volcanoes! Can you find all the shells for your crown?

Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn facts about oceans. Learners will develop fine motor skills by crafting. Learners will improve social skills by being good mermaid friends to each other. Learners will think critically as we make up guided stories and solve problems that come up during class.

Week 1: Paper Grocery Bag Scissors Coffee Filters (40sh) Acrylic or water color craft Paint (blues, greens, pinks, purples- whatever colors your child wants to paint their tail) Sponge brush (1-2 inches wide) Glue Stick that has plenty of glue in it. We use a lot. Printout of mermaid crown and shells. Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and no time outside of class.
Scissors will be used.
None. All stories told will be made up by the young mermaids and lead by Miss Helen’s personally created, original work.
