He's The Boy Who Lived. Every child in our world knows his name; and his lightening shaped scar. His journey continues with The Chamber of Secrets. We will discuss book two throughout this six week course. We will read two chapters each week before coming to class. Be prepared to discuss the reading in a fun, engaging, thought provoking, and supportive environment. I have been a huge Harry Potter fan since my tenth birthday. I began reading the books at my birthday party, and haven't put them down since. I also saw each movie in theaters (multiple times). That is to say, when I took a break from searching the sky for an owl-post letter that alas, never arrived. Needless to say I love these books as much as Hagrid loves dragons. I have pushed my trolly thorough platform 9 and 3/4 at King's Cross Station. I have traveled to the Elephant House Cafe where the books were first written on napkins, and will be showing pictures and sharing those stories with you as well. I can't wait! These books are absolutely unforgettable. I know you will feel the same way. 



We will read three chapters each week for 6 weeks. Come to our first meeting prepared to discuss the first two chapters.
