Class Experience
In this fun and interactive one-time course, students will learn breathing techniques and self-talk to help them relax when they're feeling anxious. We will read "A Little Spot of Anxiety," by Diane Alber, and discuss the story. The story contains a poem and breathing technique that will support learners in relaxing their mind and body. We will practice that and discuss that it's okay to be anxious. We will practice identifying how our bodies feel when anxious. Anxiety is a normal emotion,...

I am a certified school counselor for grades pre k - 12.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
