Class Experience

Its that time, Christmas time is here! Everybody knows it's that magical time of year where Christmas songs fill the air, lights twinkle at night and the excitement of Santa coming to visit warms our hearts. In this one time class students will learn the basics of letter writing as we write a personal letter to Santa. I have provided several templates choose from for stationary. If your student is new to writing I have included a fill-in-the-blank template to use. (Please print and have your child's paper ready prior to class.) If the student chooses to use their own paper I suggest using lined paper. We will brainstorm ideas and questions for Santa and include Christmas wish lists while writing our special letters together. After class an address will be provided for students to address and mail their letters.

**PLEASE NOTE, this class is only for those who BELIEVE in Santa.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hello my name is Teacher Re-Re and I am so excited to be your teacher. I have been teaching for 9 years and am currently a Reading Specialist. I work with different levels of students and help ESL and dyslexic learners become stronger readers while growing their love for reading. I also have taught online English for 4 years. Teaching is my true passion in life. My mission as a teacher is to motivate and inspire each child by making learning fun and engaging so that they are able to achieve anything. I am a married mother of 2 and have many different animals that keep life fun. We raise Silkie chickens which are my absolute favorite. You will get to meet many of my animals through out my lessons.
I love to draw and journal and love bright colors. I always encourage my students to color code notes, journals, classes and anything else they can add a little color to. This little trick helps your brain remember so many little important details. Its also great for remembering order and steps. I look forward to sharing fun, engaging and meaningful lessons that each student can learn and take away with something new each and every time. I am so excited to learn and meet with each of you. As we say in Texas I will see Y’ALL soon in the Outschool classroom. :)
