Welcome to Keefe Art Academy! As an artist for over 30 years, I have taught art in home school and community classrooms for 20+ years (Ages 7-18). I have been doing commissioned art work for that same period of time. I have taught over 6,900 classes online (4,800 hours) to students in 41 different countries for ages 4-18.
+Pencil +Ruler (optional) +Black Permanent Marker - Fine Point +Markers (or colored pencils) +Drawing/Marker Paper +Drawing Compass (optional) ++Any additional items from around your home i.e. a cup, a coin, etc. will be listed in an email once you sign up for the class. No additional supplies will be necessary otherwise. I will typically render the completed drawing on a 6x9 sheet of mixed media paper. I use markers with a dual tip; point and chisel. I also love watercolor dual tip markers at times. However, students may use the markers of their choosing. Though no required, a paper that is thicker in weight is typically best when drawing with markers to prevent bleed-through. My personal preference is 50lb or above. However, regular copy paper will work if you do not saturate the paper too heavily. You may experiment and see what works best for you. I cannot wait to see you in class! It will be fun!
