Class Experience

Buckle up,  let's go on an epic journey…through the human body. C'mon, don't be scared, it's perfectly safe!
 We're gonna start with the mouth because it's the gateway to the digestive system. We will end at the rectum.
We will talk about other systems, organs and enzymes that play an important role in digestion. We will discuss a few associated diseases.
There will be fun videos and interactive discussion about the topic. Students can also share what they know on the topic.

Interested? Then...

Students will gain knowledge of how food changes on its way through the digestive tract, what enzymes, Ph  and organs play important roles in digestion. We will also talk about a few diseases that often arise.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
