Class Experience

April showers bring May flowers! The month of May is a time to celebrate Mother's Day. Join Miss Stephanie and Pancake as we learn about flowers, poetry and art. In this one-time class we will first learn about the different parts of a flower (roots, leaf, stem, petal, etc.) We will use our hands and fingers to create a beautiful flowerpot craft containing 5 flowers and a poem for mom. A template will be posted to the classroom page prior to class. Together we will review the poem and...

♥ Greetings & Sing-Alongs
♥ Identify parts of a flower: roots, leaf, stem, petal etc.
♥ Repeat rhyming words
♥ Paint with hands and fingers
♥ Participate in discussion, when applicable
♥ HAVE FUN!

♥ Paint (Colors: Green, Yellow, Pink, Purple + any other color of your choice) 
Please ensure that paint is non-toxic and your learner is wearing a paint smock or old shirt. 
♥ Paper towels or "wet wipes" on hand for clean up
♥ Printable Sheet: Will be provided within 24 hours of class
♥ Bring your best self, ready to learn!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Learners may need some guidance with the painting portion of the lesson.
