Class experience
This class will be taught through the use of an interactive lesson for the first half of the class. The second half of the class will be played on the Roblox platform so students can implement the skills we learned. Topics that will be covered are, investing, planning, profits, growth, and how to properly run a business. I worked in a family business since I was old enough to reach over the counter and take customer's orders. At the age of 16, I got my first official job at a retail pharmacy and worked my way up to management. I have managed several multi-million dollar retail stores and successfully run my own tutoring business. I also hold a Masters Degree in the Psychology of Child and Adolescent Development. Let's just say, I LOVE shaping tomorrow's leaders!
Homework Offered
Before taking the class, all students must watch the "Digital Safety" PowerPoint and answer the questions at the end. Students will have the option to work after class for additional points. There is no mandatory homework.Assessments Offered
Learners will be in competition with themselves. Their goal will be to learn different strategies and to implement them in order to become a successful business owner. No official assessment will be completed.Grades Offered

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Parents are asked to watch the digital safety PowerPoint with their child and review the rules BEFORE taking the class. Cyberbullying will not be tolerated. Anyone who breaks the class rules will receive a warning or be asked to leave the course. No refunds will be given for a student who refuses to follow the rules. The rules are in place to ensure the safety of every child.
We will use the Roblox platform to practice the skills we learned. Please have your child send me a friend request before class begins. Copy and paste this link onto the device they will be using for class. (https://www.roblox.com/users/1154849416/profile) Students can use 2 different devices during class if needed. OR, one device can be used to connect to both Zoom and Roblox.
