In this 3 week class, we will learn about maple syrup French vocabulary while drawing and playing games.
Class experience
In this 3 week class, we will go over French vocabulary for the Canadian tradition of maple syrup and "la cabane à sucre". We will be playing a fun bingo game and coloring a sugar bush image. After learning about the tasty food we eat at "la cabane à sucre", we will draw the foods we would like to try and even draw a creative label for a maple syrup jar! Students will learn the French vocabulary associated with the Canadian tradition of maple syrup.
I have been a French teacher in Ontario Canada for over 23 years. I have taught all grade levels from jk to grade 8. This area of Canada is known for it's maple syrup production and is a tradition for my family as well as my community.
Students can either print the coloring sheets provided or use the jamboard version that will be available in class.
