In this beginner art class we will learn how to paint a unicorn. You do not need any prior art experience just the willingness to try. I will gently guide the class through each step. We will learn about the color wheel, mixing colors, and a few acrylic painting techniques. Students can ask questions or ask me for help at any time. A small canvas: 8x10s work well 2 brushes: medium flat and a small one for details, you may bring more if you want to. 1 water cup for washing out brushes Paper towels Acrylic Paint: Black White Red Blue Yellow (we can mix any other colors: pink, green, orange, purple but you’re welcome to bring them pre-mixed) Before class they should decide on their color choices for: Background Unicorn’s mane Unicorn
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
