This class will introduce the fundamentals of ballet to preschoolers using the Fantasy Garden Ballet soundtrack. The syllabus will be as follows: Day One: Warm Up with "The Sun", Plies with "Plie Poppy", Tendus with "Tendu the Tulip", Port de Bras with "Port de Bras Spider" Day Two: Warm Up with "It's Morning", Marching with "Marching Marigolds", Bourees with "Bouree Bee", Sautes with "Saute Bunny" Day Three: Warm Up with "Butterfly", Skipping with "Skippy Squirrel", Chasses with "Chasse Chipmunk", Echappes with "Echappe Azalea" Day Four: Warm Up with "Mr. Inchworm", Leaps with "Leaping Ladybugs", Pas de Chats with "Pas de Chat Pansy", Coupes and Passes with "Coupe the Cricket"
Learning Goals
Students will learn the basics of ballet, to include:
*Plie
*Releve
*Passe
*Coupe
*Chasse
*Port de bras
*Attitude
*Bouree
These steps will be learned with accompanying Fantasy Garden music.

Parental Guidance
It is highly recommended that parents supervise their children as they take this class and ensure that they adhere to the correct flooring requirement, spacing requirement, and clothing requirement. Dance is a physical art form and injuries can occur if children are not focused and not dancing in the right setting or clothing. It is imperative that students wear either ballet dance shoes or dance barefoot- NO socks allowed, as slipping is very easy when trying to dance in socks.

*Ballet shoes are strongly recommended, but not required. If not dancing in ballet shoes, please have child go barefoot. No socks. *An open space to dance in *Exercise/workout clothes *Water

I teach dance, gymnastics, and cheerleading. I teach in-person classes at a dance studio in the DFW area of Texas. I also owned my own studio for two years in Grand Prairie, Texas. It was called Dance With Jenny!
I also hold a current manicurist license in the state of Texas.
