In this class, students will expand their knowledge and learn basic terminology relating to the United States government and the role of its citizens. Specifically, in the first class, we will discuss the three branches of government and the function of each branch. In the second class, we will learn about the role of citizens within our government and their rights, duties, and responsibilities. In the third lesson, students will learn all about the United States Constitution with an emphasis on the Bill of Rights. In the final class, we will play Jeopardy to review all of the material! This game is always a huge hit with my students! Students will learn valuable information and have meaningful discussions with myself and their peers. There is no required experience or knowledge that your child needs to participate in this class. Join my class and lets have some fun diving into Civics!
