Welcome to a Day with Allie (Greeting)! In this one day course students will learn four basic greetings, 5 action words, and Allie's favorite song, "Dime". Students will sing, dance, and play a group game. Students will practice the follow vocabulary: Buenos Dias - Good Morning Buenas Tardes - Good Afternoon Buenas Noches - Good Night Hola Amigos - Hello Friends Arriba - Up Abajo - Down Corre - Run Baila - Dance Salta - Jump Dime - Tell me Muchacho - Boy Muchacha - Girl Como te llamas tu? - What is your name? Me llamo - My name is____

Parental Guidance
There is a brief section where students will have the opportunity to demonstrate some of the action words. For example, the teacher may ask students to (salta or jump). It is recommended for students to have adequate space and supervision to demonstrate the action words. Students are not required to act out the actions as some students prefer to only watch the puppet act them out.

Hello friends! I am a certified Spanish/ESOL teacher and I am very excited to have the privilege of teaching on this platform. I am a mother of five boys and I enjoy spending time with my family. I have 20 years of teaching experience and I absolutely LOVE working with students. I obtained BA in Spanish with a minor in Early Childhood Education, an M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and an Ed.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of South Carolina. I also obtained a second M.Ed. from Southern Wesleyan University. I have done various studies on how children learn language. I found that students learn best and have a higher retention rate when they have an opportunity to use visual, physical, and verbal modalities simultaneously.
