US Grade Kindergarten - 2
In this class, we will be learning about circle stories. Circle stories require that each item leads to the next and that the story ends up where it started. During the class, we will be reading a circle story book, such as Laura Numeroff’s “If You Give a Pig a pancake.” We will discuss what makes this story a circle story. Afterwards, students will be able to make their own circle story and have an opportunity to share their story with the class. This is a great activity that allows children to have fun telling stories and being creative without feeling overwhelmed.
Learning Goals
Students will learn about circle stories and how to connect one item to the next. They will be able be as creative as they want and realize that creating stories can be fun and easy!

Teacher expertise and credentials
Bachelor's Degree in History from Grand Canyon University
Hello! My name is Tracy. From ESL to social clubs and creative writing, I offer many different classes that are fun and allow for learning without pressure and stress! Academic success has always been important to me. I was the valedictorian of my high school graduating class and I graduated from Grand Canyon University, cum laude. I have 16 years of teaching experience. I taught a private school before starting a family of my own. I have taught every subject, from ESL to math and physics! I’ve taught ages from 3 to 18 years old.
Learning is important, but it's difficult to learn when you are stressed, struggling, or overwhelmed. I strive to make my classes fun so learning is easy.
As a mother of five, I understand that every child is different and they each have a learning style that works best for them. Because I have homeschooled all five of my children since the beginning of their schooling, I have seen the different ways children learn and know the importance of making learning enjoyable . I adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of the student.
I look forward to our classtime!
