Class Experience

Reading and inquiry skills will drive each lesson.  Below you will find the skills listed by each lesson.

1. Atoms, Bonding, and the Periodic Table

Students will receive homework weekly.  There are several lab options as well.  Labs are to be completed independently.  
Students must ensure that the textbook is acquired prior to the start of class.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
Some labs may require parental supervision.
This course requires your child to access nearpod. However, you are not required to setup an account. The passcode to access any assignment will be provided in class. 
Required textbook:
Introduction to Chemistry by Pearson (This book is available on amazon and should not cost more than $10)
The textbook is part of the interactive science series.
