Description
Class Experience
Students will gain a better understanding of the diverse make up of classical music and will leave the course with additional resources for continuing reading and listening to further broaden their understanding of the makeup of Classical Music. Musicians will have the opportunity to explore works related to their specific instruments in a way to broaden their own repertoire.
My background is in Oboe Performance, and I hold a Master's Degree in Musicology and Women's and Gender Studies. My work experience includes being faculty at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania and being the Director of Research for Women's Philharmonic Advocacy, a nonprofit organization committed to "leveling the playing field" for women composers.
