Class Experience

The students will learn the basic steps and vocabulary for a ballet barre and along with stretches and exercises that can help them progress to the next level.
I will be assigning vocabulary, videos and practice exercises. I will have a mixture of individual and group projects. The homework or projects should not take longer than 30 minutes to complete.
Pink Ballet tights($10-15), classic black tank leotard($15-20), and ballet shoe pink cloth($15-20). The link below is dance store that you can purchase all of the materials:
The learner will be graded based off a point assessment. For example 5 points whether they explained the definition of a plie properly or 5 points for proper attire.
2 hours per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Ballet requires an ample amount of workout space. Make sure that there is enough room for the students to dance and that the area is safe from hazardous materials that they can step or run into. Make sure that the floor is not slick as well. Students will need to make sure that they are warmed up and that they have a bottle of water with them. Be at advised since this a physical course that parents monitor their children in order for them to stay safe. Injury is possible in this course just like any other sport, pulled muscles and ankle injuries are the main ones to be aware of.
