Did you set a goal to read more books this summer? Do you have summer reading to complete? Let me help you reach that goal! In this one week summer camp, we will read a whole book together! We will meet once a day for an hour to read Wonder by R.J. Palacio as a group. We will discuss the story as we read aloud! You will also read outside of class independently.

Don't be scared by the number of chapters we will read per day - many of them are less than a page long!

Hi everyone! My name is Emily Freda and I am so excited to be teaching on Outschool! I can't wait to share my love of reading and life skills with you! I graduated from Penn State University with a B.S. in Special Education and a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction. I currently teach high school Reading and English in Virginia. I believe that learning should be fun, and that everyone deserves to learn! I am excited to welcome learners of all ages and abilities to my classes. Fun facts about me - my favorite color is yellow, I could eat pasta every day and not get tired of it, and I grew up in New Jersey!
