In this month long flexible course, learners will independently read a book in one month while completing activities after each section.

Do you have a goal to read more books? Let me help you reach that goal! In this flexible version of my live Book in a Week course, we will read a whole book in just one month! Twice a week, you will be assigned a section of the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio. After you read each section independently, you will complete an activity. These activities will be posted and due twice a week. Activities for Section 1 of each week will be posted Sundays by 8pm EST and will be due Tuesdays by 8pm EST....
10 lessons//5 Weeks
Week 1Lesson 1Welcome/Introduction-Introducing myself -Introducing the story -Instructions for the courseLesson 2Week 1 Section 1Students will read Chapters 1-20, then complete the week's activity found on our Bitmoji classroom posted in Outschool.Lesson 3Week 1 Section 2After reading Chapters 21-31, students will answer a short writing prompt.Week 2Lesson 4Week 2 Section 1After reading Chapters 32-47, students will answer a short writing prompt.Lesson 5Week 2 Section 2After reading Chapters 48-63, students will answer questions about the characters and plot.Week 3Lesson 6Week 3 Section 1After reading Chapters 64-73, students will complete short written responses about the story.Lesson 7Week 3 Section 2After reading Chapters 74-81, students will answer a short writing prompt.Week 4Lesson 8Week 4 Section 1After reading Chapters 82-92, students will answer questions about the characters and plot.Lesson 9Week 4 Section 2After completing the book, students will answer questions about the plot and their experience reading the story.Week 5Lesson 10Wrap UpStudents will have access to all lessons and activities for the final week if they need to catch up or go back to previous lessons.
