In this month long flexible course, learners will independently read a book in one month while completing activities after each section.

 Week 1
Lesson 1
Welcome/Introduction
-Introducing myself -Introducing the story -Instructions for the course
Lesson 2
Week 1 Section 1
Students will read Chapters 1-20, then complete the week's activity found on our Bitmoji classroom posted in Outschool.
Lesson 3
Week 1 Section 2
After reading Chapters 21-31, students will answer a short writing prompt.
 Week 2
Lesson 4
Week 2 Section 1
After reading Chapters 32-47, students will answer a short writing prompt.
Lesson 5
Week 2 Section 2
After reading Chapters 48-63, students will answer questions about the characters and plot.
 Week 3
Lesson 6
Week 3 Section 1
After reading Chapters 64-73, students will complete short written responses about the story.
Lesson 7
Week 3 Section 2
After reading Chapters 74-81, students will answer a short writing prompt.
 Week 4
Lesson 8
Week 4 Section 1
After reading Chapters 82-92, students will answer questions about the characters and plot.
Lesson 9
Week 4 Section 2
After completing the book, students will answer questions about the plot and their experience reading the story.

Wrap Up
Students will have access to all lessons and activities for the final week if they need to catch up or go back to previous lessons.
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve reading comprehension and fluency skills while growing their love for reading. 
I am a special educator and am able to accommodate all needs and abilities. I have experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and many other disabilities. 
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
We will be using Google Forms to complete assignments like comprehension questions and writing prompts. A Google account is not required to fill out a Google Form.
