A Book A Week: An Ongoing Summer Book Club Challenge for Avid Readers, Ages 9-12
In this ongoing summer course, avid readers will meet to discuss books at the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade levels.

Do you have an avid reader ready for a challenge? Trying to keep books in their hands over the summer? Join us for A Book a Week! For each weekly meeting, students should read the assigned book before class. We'll then play a get to know you game so students feel comfortable sharing, discuss the book using interactive and engaging strategies, and if time allows, attempt brain teasers. Socialization and critical thinking will be encouraged. Each month will center around a different genre....
