Class experience
In this one time class we will learn how to make a 6 inch macaron cake. We will make 3 big 6 inch macarons that will make a finished macaron cake. There will be a YouTube video after class you can watch on how to decorate and fill your macaron cake. It is advised but not required to take my beginner macaron class so that your learner will know that basics of how to make a regular sized macaron. There will be a waiting/drying time of 1 to 2 hours for the big macarons. We will not be making...
This class is taught in English.
I have been making macarons for seven years. I have a small business in South Carolina called, Victoria’s Macarons. Making macarons is a passion of mine and I love passing down my passion to kids. I used to work at a child development center as a teacher and then as the director. I love working with kids of all ages. I have two little ones of my own. My oldest always offers to help me make macarons.
Homework Offered
For homework you will need to bake the big macarons. There is a 1-2 hour drying period for the big macarons. You will need to watch a YouTube video, in it I will explain how to decorate your macaron cake. You can make your own designs, my video is just a guide on what you can do. If you know how to decorate you do not need to watch the video. Once you are finished baking and decorating your macaron cake you will post it in the classroom so that our class can see how beautiful your macaron cake comes out. You will need to comment on other classmates pictures to count for participation.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Allergy warning: macarons do contain nuts. Pre caution: make sure to use heat protective oven mitts when using the oven to avoid burns. The macaron shells are gluten free. If your learner is not using a squeezable food coloring, please be advised that we will need to use a butter knives or toothpicks to get the gel color out of the container. Please make sure that it is not a sharp knife for safety. We will not be making a filling for this class. You will purchase a pre made filling of your choice. Please make sure when baking the macarons, that you use heat safety oven mitts to avoid any burns. If your student needs help using any of the baking items, please make sure to stand on the side off of this computer screen.
In my classes I teach your learner how to make French macarons. French macarons are very pick and finicky cookies to make. If they do not come out “perfect” I will help as much as I can after class. I will be proud of your learners work, no matter...
