Class experience
This is a month long course that focuses on building beginning phonics skills. Your child will have the opportunity to learn by watching and practicing. There will be various read alouds, informational videos, songs, and hands on activities that your child will engage in. This class is taught in English.
Students will learn and practice different sounds that phonemes make. They will be able to build, manipulate, write and read words based off of the sounds taught. Students will be able to rhyme and break words into syllables.
Students may need paper, pencil, coloring materials, scissors, glue/tape, white board, and dry erase marker. There will be documents needed for class that will be posted to the classroom page prior to each meeting.
