This class will explore the history of a classical ballet ghost story. We will watch clips of different parts of the ballet, and how a ballerina tells a story without words. Finally we will learn a short section of the original choreography from the ballet. This class is suitable for anyone who is interested in ballet, regardless of experience or prior training. Class structure: Welcome and Introduction Discussion of Giselle's Plot Ballet Warm-Up Stretching Video Discussion - comparing how a dancer shows the difference between Giselle when she is "alive" and "dead." Learn part of the ballet!

Parental Guidance
This class may be a bit "spooky," but not scary! To ensure safety, children should be supervised by a parent or guardian during dance class, and please make find a slip-proof area to dance. If dance shoes are not worn, bare feet are preferable over socks. We do not offer makeups or refunds for missed classes.
